William Houston Griffin, Jr., 76 of Bowling Green, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Medical Center.

The Bowling Green native was a son of the late William Houston Griffin, Sr. and Alice Haneline Griffin and was preceded in death by an aunt, Virginia Sutton.

Mr. Griffin was a graduate of College High and Western Kentucky University. He was a member of State Street United Methodist Church and an avid supporter of the College Heights Foundation. He had a fondness of cars and started drag racing when he was 16 and won several trophies. He loved animals, especially dachshunds  and he also loved visiting Art's Car Museum in Bowling Green.

Survivors include several cousins.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 3:00 pm, Thursday November 5, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
