Wei-Ming Lee's Obituary
Dr. Wei-Ming (Charles) Lee, 81 passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at HCA Greenview Hospital.
The China, Shanghai native was retired from Western Kentucky University where he was a professor of Chemistry. Prior to WKU he retired from Dow Chemical Corporation after 29 years. Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ping-Chao Lee and Show-Ying Lee; a brother-in-law Eugene Tang and sister, Wei-Huei Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Julia T. Lee of Bowling Green; two brothers, Wei-Cheng Lee of Midland, MI and Wei-Kai Lee of Brea, CA; two brothers-in-law, David Tang of Henderson, NV and Kenneth Tang of San Diego, CA; one sister-in-law, Wen Tang of Philadelphia, PA.
Funeral Services will be at 6:00 pm Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
