Wallace Smith, Jr., 65 of Smiths Grove passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.

The Smiths Grove native was a son of the late Wallace T. Smith, Sr. and Betty Britt Smith who is surviving. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Boyd Smith.

Mr. Smith was a graduate of Warren East High School and a farmer.

In addition to his mother, Betty Britt Smith, he is survived by three sons, Chad T. Smith, Michael Smith and Jamie Smith; one daughter, Amanda "Amy" Waters; two brothers, Charles Smith and James "Jimmy" Smith; two sisters, Carrie Smith and Peggy Boyd; four grandchildren, Chase Waters, Jagger Waters and Jacob Waters and Jana Wood; and his Significant Other, Peggy Schrab; a sister in law, Mary Boyd Sewell and several nieces and nephew.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in the Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
