Virginia Fullen, 98, of Bowling Green, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 at her
residence. The Knoxville, TN native was the daughter of the late Margaret Hogan
Blanton and Lloyd Blanton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her
husband of 76 years, Bernard Fullen; a sister, Wanda Miller; and a niece, Donna Still.
Mrs. Fullen owned and operated Virginia's Ceramics and was a teacher's aide at the
Lions Handicap School in Bowling Green. She was a long-time member of State Street
United Methodist Church, where she was involved in many activities, including the
Pathfinders Sunday School class, Bible School, the Church Bazaar, choir, and the
United Methodist Women.  She loved her beautiful flower gardens and cooking delicious
food for her friends and family.
She is survived by her beloved children, a son, David L. Fullen and a daughter, Carol A.
Fullen, both of Bowling Green; and several nieces & nephews, including her devoted
niece Jeannie Daniel.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6 at State Street
United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be
held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps
Funeral Home and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at State Street United
Methodist Church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to State Street
United Methodist Church Building Fund or the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane
Society.
