Virginia "Jenny" Dedmon, 87 of Bowling Green passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at Magnolia Village. The Barren County, Kentucky native was a daughter of the late Jessie E. Bewley and Eskel Wyatt Bewley and was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James E. Dedmon.

Mrs. Dedmon was a graduate of Austin Tracy High School and attended Western Kentucky University. She was a member of the Logan County Homemakers and was a member of the choir and was a Sunday school teacher at Forrest Park Baptist Church and later became a member at Lifeway Community Church. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife and most especially, mother.

Survivors include her son, James Dwight Dedmon of Bowling Green; one daughter, Jennifer Jellier Harlow and her husband, Tim of Bowling Green; two brothers, Jay Lewis Bewley of Fountain Run, KY and Wayne Bewley of Bardstown, KY.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, December 19, 2016 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Sunday, December 18, 2016 and again from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Lifeway Community Church and Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
