Troy Brown, 72, of Smiths Grove passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. The Cave-In-Rock, Illinois native was the son of the late Tommie Beatrice and Walter Paris Brown, Sr.  In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by one sister, Judy Ann Cain; four brothers, Lonnie Paul Brown, Roger McKay Brown, Jimmy Fred Brown and Kenneth Eugene Brown.

Mr. Brown served in the United States Navy. He worked at GM of Bowling Green assembling Corvettes and was a proud member of the Cave Country HOG Chapter, (Harley Owners Group).

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Brenda Brown, two daughters, Makell Brown (Chris), Jennifer Perkinson (Clay); one son, Jeremy Steenbergen; three sisters, Mildred Littrell (LaDon), Thelma Theobald (Phil), and Janice Foster (Rocco); one brother, Walter Brown (Wanda); six grandchildren, Kassidy Brown, Alex, Tate, Celie, Adalyn, Brileigha and Ja'Mauri Perkinson and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.
