Tracine Virginia Hall Owens, 100, of Bowling Green died on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The Bowling Green native was born to the late Tracy Monroe and Mary E. Hall on November 17, 1923. She is also predeceased by her husband, Virgil Ray Owens; daughter, Paula Owens; brother, Tommy Hall; and three sisters, Bonita Springs, Mariana Bilbrey, and Marjorie Miller.

She was a faithful member of Kerr Memorial and Faith United Methodist Church. In her later years, she attended First Christian Church. She graduated from Bowling Green High School, class of 1943. She retired from Sears and Roebuck from the Catalogue Department.

Mrs. Owens is survived by two daughters, Pamela Jewell and Marilyn Rush; a brother, Minor Hall; six grandchildren, Randy Jewell, Jeffery Jewell, Julie Rush, Ryan Rush, Dr. Kristin DeMichele, and Dr. Dustin Owens; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Owens is scheduled for Friday, April 19, 2024, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Then again on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 9:00am – 10:00am at Faith Methodist Church with her service beginning at 10:00am with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
