Thomas Dennis Smith, 63, of Oakland, passed away on December 31, 2025 at Skyline Medical Center. The Bowling Green native was a son of the late Bobby and Betty Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Frank Smith.

He was a member of Freedom Hill Church and worked at Fruit of the Loom. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies, and playing his guitar.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 4 at Freedom Hill Church in Scottsville, KY with burial to follow at Martinsville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Oakland, KY. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 4 at Freedom Hill Church.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Savannah Smith; his sister, Shannon Smith; two grandchildren, Easton and Wrenlee Smith; two nieces, Haley Smith and Miranda Birge; a nephew, Tyler Smith; and his dog Diesel.
