Thomas E. (Gene) Marshall, 96, of Bowling Green passed away Friday, July 6, 2018. He was the son of the late James Thomas Marshall and Dicy Gardner Marshall of Mississippi. The Mississippi native was a graduate of Bassfield High School, Bassfield, MS and the Bowing Green Business University. He was a member of the Victory Sunday School Class and First Baptist Church. Mr. Marshall was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II.

Funeral will be Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home with burial at Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his wife, Marshal Etta; a daughter, Vicky Lynn; and two sisters Dorothy and Margaret.  He is survived by his son, Mike Marshall and his wife, Julie of Lakeland, Florida.
