Terrie Miles Wood, 84, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died on October 2, 2025, at Greenwood Nursing Home. A native of Hart County, Terrie was the daughter of Virgil Green Miles and Naomi Mae Craddock Miles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers: Lester, Leon, and Duard Miles. Terrie dedicated her life to being a devoted mother and a skilled homemaker. She attended Cub Run High School, and was a member of the Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church.

Terrie is survived by her husband of 67 years, Stanley Downing Wood; two sons, Franklin (Amy) Wood of Bowling Green, and Geoffrey Wood of Auburn; grandsons, Andrew (Bonnie) Wood of Brentwood, TN, and Paul (Christine) Wood of Bowling Green; great-grandchildren, Zara, Jolie, and Henry Wood, and a sister, Naomi Dorsey of Louisville.

Funeral services will be held at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home on Monday, October 6 at noon, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
