Sue Brown, 84, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at her residence. The Paducah                       native was the daughter of the late Harrel and Thelma Cooper Boaz. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Beth Gifford.

She received her associate degree at Western Kentucky University and was a banker. Mrs. Brown was a member of Glendale Baptist Church for 52 years where she was the pianist for 30 years.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Bob C. Brown; one daughter, Jana Kaye Mulliken; one son-in-law, Bro. Jim Gifford (Carolyn); one brother, Jerry Boaz (Linda); one sister, Ann Pugh (Travis); six grandchildren, Benjamin Gifford, Brian Gifford, Jacob Mulliken, Nikolaos Mulliken, Lindsay Bragg (Andrew), Emily McKemy (Daniel); one great grandchild, Kian Mulliken and eleven nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at White Stone Quarry Baptist Church, 2764 Blue Level Road. Visitation will be held at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Additional visitation on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at White Stone Quarry Baptist Church. Additional services in Boaz, KY, include visitation on Wednesday at Hardmoney Baptist Church from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with committal service at 3:30 at Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery in Boaz, Kentucky.
