Stanley HY Hsieh M.D , 91, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at The Medical Center Bowling Green, KY.

He was a retired physician. He was born in Guangdong China and grew up in Taiwan. He trained and practiced as a general surgeon in Taiwan and moved to Bowling Green in 1978, where he practiced for 37 years as a general practitioner. Over the course of 5 decades, he provided diligent and personal care to countless patients and families.

He was a beloved father, grandfather and loving and caring husband. He is survived by his two sons, Dr. Wenson Hsieh of Singapore (Francesca) and Dr. Anson Hsieh of Bowling Green (Lin); three grandchildren, Katherine, Kaitlin, Kollin Hsieh; numerous nieces and nephews, including Dang Zhu Guo of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Christian Health Care for their excellent care for him during the last few years of his life and the staff of Medical Center of Bowling Green for their wonderful and compassionate care during his various illnesses.

Visitation will be held on Friday Sept 25, from 4pm until 8pm at Johnson Vaughn Phelps funeral home. Additional visitation will be at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home on Saturday, September 26, from 10am until 2pm. With funeral to follow at 2pm
