Sheri Lin Montemayor, 60, of Bowling Green passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at her residence. The Waukegan IL native was the daughter of the late Hubert and Zelma Wheeler Bechtol. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Judi Ulatowski and Alice Moran.

She was a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan with a bachelor's degree in computer science. Mrs. Montemayor was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She was an eight year cancer survivor and was actively involved in Relay For Life, and an advocate for everyone fighting cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Alexander Montemayor; one son, Anthony Montemayor (Jennie Samuel); one daughter, Meghan Johnston (Jake); one sister, Toni Edmonds (Rodger); two granddaughters, Penny Evelyn Johnston and June Lin Johnston along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Drive-thru visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Broadway United Methodist Church, 1323 Melrose Street, Bowling Green, KY 42104. Additional drive-thru visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, September 12, 2020 with a private memorial service to follow.
