Scott Alan Edwards, 63, of Antioch, TN passed away Friday, October 3, 2025 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee.

Scott was born June 17, 1962 to the late Charles David Edwards and Sandra Craft Warren, who survives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Jane Craft.

He was retired, after 37 years of employment with HEB Groceries of San Antonio, TX where he served as store manager in many areas of Texas. In 2023 he moved back to Kentucky to be close to his parents. In 2024 he became employed at Kroger Company and moved to Tennessee in early 2025.

His most important accomplishment was being a father to his precious daughter Kate for 18 years. Scott had the most winning personality and zest for life. He would help anyone in need. In his early days in Texas, he became accomplished with team roping winning several events throughout Texas.

In addition to his mother, Sandra Craft Warren, and step-father, Walter Warren, he is survived by his daughter, Kate Elizabeth Edwards of Arlington, TX; Companion, Jennifer Gipson of Antioch, TN; two brothers John E. (Lori) Edwards of Greenwood, SC and Michael J. (Lynn) Matthews of Bowling Green; two stepbrothers, Graham W. (Tracie) Warren of Lexington, KY and Joseph R. Warren of Daniel Island, SC; two nieces, Jordan (Devin) Walters of Scottsville, KY and McKenzie Edwards of Greenwood, SC; one nephew, John Matthews of Bowling Green; many cousins also survive.

Memorial services are scheduled for 10:45 am, Friday, October 10, at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 am until 10:45 am,  Friday, October 10 at the funeral home.  There will be a private burial at Fairview Cemetery.
