Ruth Ann Kitchens Hines, 78, of Bowling Green passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Christian Health Care. The Bowling Green native was born to the late Walter Hugh Kitchens and Mayzell Felts Ellis. Mrs. Hines was married to her husband W.R. "Bill" Hines in 1956 who precedes her in death, a sister Linda S. Ellis and grandson Mark Tabor.

She was a graduate of Warren County High School. Mrs. Hines was retired and loved to travel, paint and sew. She attended and was a member of Rich Pond Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hines is survived by two sons, Kirk Hines (Karlynn) and Scott Hines; one daughter, Julia Tabor (Troy, Jr.); one sister, Myra "Jackie" Hines (Ed); three grandchildren, Blandon Tabor (Chelsea), Ben Hines (Lea), Emily Hines and two great grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, March 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with additional visitation Monday, March 5, 2018 from 11:00 am until service time.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Rich Pond Baptist Church.
