Obituary

Ruth Catherine Coad, 99, of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26 at Magnolia Village.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, she was born on April 15, 1925 to the late Joseph and Anna Muzzio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Coad, Sr. of Bowling Green, KY; one son, Arthur L. Coad, Jr. (Deborah Coad/Wion) of St. Charles, MO; one brother, Carl Ray Muzzio of Solon Springs, WI.

Ruth was a graduate of Shore High School, in Euclid, Ohio, class of 1943. She was a member of Windermere, Chapter 388, Cleveland, Ohio, Order of the Eastern Star, and Goshen Chapter 198, Alvaton, KY. Ruth was an active member of St. James United Methodist Church, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Baranyi (Rick), of Hendersonville, TN; two granddaughters, Tara Redd (Donald) of Hendersonville, TN and Jennifer Stoces (Christopher) of St. Charles, MO; two grandsons, Tate Baranyi, Danville, IN and Arthur L. Coad III (Kim) of Lake St. Louis, MO; eight great grandchildren, Brandon Baranyi of Bowling Green, KY, Corey Redd of Hendersonville, TN, Mason and Kendall Baranyi of Danville, IN, Cooper Stoces of St. Charles, MO and Matthew, Caleb and Luke Coad of Lake St. Louis, MO along with a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kosair charities for kids.

Graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 3 p.m. on  Friday, March 28 at Fairview Cemetery #2, 1209 Fairview Avenue, Bowling Green, KY 42103.
