Robert Campbell Pemberton, Jr., 90, of Bowling Green died Monday, April 17, 2017 at Signature Healthcare.

He was a retired office manager for AT&T. He also retired as a Major from the United States Army. Headquarters 3/123 Armor Division. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and previously, several civic organizations. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's of Science degree.

He was the son of the late Robert Campbell and Anna Mable Coomes Pemberton. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Pemberton Clarke (Joseph); and a nephew-in-law, Kenneth Burrett.

Mr. Pemberton is survived by a sister, Miss Margaret Bruce Pemberton; two nieces, Pamela Ann Clarke Burrett and Mary Patricia Clarke Adelman (Michael); and several great nieces and a great nephews.

A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 – 11 Saturday morning. His funeral is under the direction of Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
