Robert Charles Lynn, 89 of Bowling Green, KY, died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Greenview Hospital.

He was born in Bethlehem, PA on November 6, 1927 and was the only child of Harry W. Lynn and the Rev. Florence Afflerbach Lynn. He was married in 1948 to his wife, Christine Ziegenfuss Lynn and has three children, Barbara Louise Lynn of Glenolden, PA, Douglas Charles Lynn of Kennesaw, GA and Jeffrey David Lynn and his wife, Kelly of Bowling Green, KY. Three grandchildren, Shannon Lynn Armstrong (Adam) of Bowling Green, KY, Emily Lynn Goforth (Nick) of Bowling Green, KY and John Robert Lynn (Katie) of Bowling Green, KY; four great grandchildren, June and Violet Armstrong and James and Noah Goforth.

He was a graduate of Lehigh University in 1948 and had a business career in sales and marketing with national companies and as an independent contractor. After retirement, he volunteered at SCORE (SBA) for over ten years and was appointed a Gold Member. He also volunteered as a computer instructor at the Benson Senior Center of Fulton County, GA for over ten years.

He was a 65 + year Mason at F& AM Lodges in Sandy Springs, GA and Hellertown, PA. He also served in the Army during the Korean War period.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, June 16, 2017 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:30 am – 10:00 am also at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
