Rita Faye Gregory, age 52 of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Betty Lou Gregory of Franklin, KY. Rita was a 2007 graduate of Western Kentucky University (WKU) and a loyal employee of WKU Parking and Transportation. She was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed being outdoors.

She is survived by her closest friend of 27 years, Paula Frank, and her daughters, Brandi Wright (Jamie) of Campbellsville, KY and Heather Munday (JB Fleming, fiancé) of Franklin, KY. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Mackenzie Wright, Miles Wright and Annabelle Leigh Fleming.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Chandler Memorial Chapel on WKU's campus (1906 College Heights Blvd., Bowling Green, KY 42101). Those attending should arrive early and park in either WKU's Kentucky Street lot, Adams Street lot or in Parking Structure #1.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Inc. at 5872 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
