Ricky "Rick" W. Dunn, 71, of Bowling Green, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at his residence. The Smiths Grove native was the son of the late Carlton W. and Rebecca Smith Dunn.

Rick was a member of Martinsville Missionary Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World. He worked at Holley Carburetor and was a musician.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 20 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Martinsville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 19 with additional visitation from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, May 20 at the funeral home.

Mr. Dunn is survived by a son, Tyler Cole Dunn (Nina); a daughter, Tracie Dunn Rotermann (Klaus); a sister, Suzanne Dunn Smith (Rex); a granddaughter, Kenzie Rotermann; companion and caregiver of 18 years, Bonnie VanMeter; an aunt, Norma Duff; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Regina and Lynn Goodman; his partners in crime, Charles Meeks and Mike Jordan; and his faithful cat, Jackie.
