Richard William Carlson, 91, of Bowling Green, native of Chicago, Il, and veteran of the Korean War crossed over on March 27, 2024.

Carl is survived by his wife of 60 years, Addie Hays Carlson, 93, his daughter, Melinda and her husband, Matt Logic, his daughter, Melissa Kay Carlson, his son, Jeff Carlson and 5 grandchildren, Elaina Carlson, Megan Carlson, Garrick Logic, Hannah Logic and Paris Carlson and 2 great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Samuel, and his loving fur baby, Sugie (Sugar), and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Bernice Seckard Carlson and a brother, Robert Carlson.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
