Rebecca "Becky" Jane Hopper, aged 74, of Bowling Green passed away after a long battle with end-stage COPD on September 2, 2026. She was born on June 26, 1952, to the late Walter Smith Chamberlain and Wilma Jean Perry Chamberlain of Auburn, KY. In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her dearest sister Melinda Ann Chamberlain Bingham.

Becky graduated from Auburn High School and the Bowling Green Business College, and later retired from a career in the hospitality industry. Becky was an avid dog lover and supported the BGWC Humane Society.

Becky, otherwise known as "Grammy" to family, is survived by her daughter, Kristi Leigh Mers (Shane); her grandchildren, Zach and River, and her fur baby, Domino. Her memory will live on in our hearts.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 8th at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or BGWC Humane Society.
