Patricia Motley Thomas, 85, of Bowling Green passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.

The Motley, Kentucky native was a daughter of the late Homer Ewing Howell and Minor Hays Gentry Howell. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert H. Motley and a brother, Glenda Howell.

Mrs. Thomas was retired from the Warren County Circuit Court Clerk's Office and was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Daughters of American Colonist.

Survivors include her husband, William F. Thomas; one son, Brad Motley (Bettie) of Allen County; one brother, Danny Howell of Bowling Green; one sister, Alicia Joan White (Charles) of Allen County; ten step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.


Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Friday January 20, 2017 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Thursday and again from 9:00 am – 11:00 am Friday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or First Baptist Church.
