Pansy Maureen Christian, 83 of Bowling Green died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.

The Love, Kentucky native was a daughter of the late Christopher Columbus Johnson and Effie Mae Johnson. She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Edwin B. Christian, a son, Glenn Robert Christian and eleven brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Christian was a homemaker a believer of Christ and born to nurture. She baby sat and helped raise many children in her lifetime. She loved children and they loved her.

She is survived by her one son, Kelly A. Christian of Woodburn, KY; one daughter, Alicia Christian Sweeney and her husband, Greg of Smiths Grove, KY; one brother, Jessie Johnson and his wife, Wanda of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Jacob A. Sweeney and his wife, Andrea and Johnathon Sweeney all of Bowling Green; one great grandchild, Tristan Sweeney of Bowling Green.

Memorial services are scheduled for 12:00 pm, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time on Saturday.
