Otis Eugene Grinstead, 89, of Brownsville died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his residence.

The Brownsville, Kentucky native was a son of the late Gene Grinstead and Ida Mae Lawrence Grinstead. He is preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Mr. Grinstead was a maintenance worker for Strausheim Company.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mildred Marie Tinsley Grinstead of Brownsville, KY; four daughters, Wanda Carroll (Rod Olson) of TN, Maretta Vincent (Noah) of Brownsville, KY, Judy Pilkenton (Tommy) GA, Lisa Liggett (Bechara Azzi) of KY; one sister, Captola Ward of Louisville, KY; nine grandchildren, Brandon Carroll, Shannon White (Dave), Jason Wilson, Ashley Kinser (Eric), Scott Pilkenton (Lisa), Tonya Pilkenton, Krystal Garner (Jay), Katelyn and Trevor Liggett; thirteen great grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Brianna, Lindsey, Chance, Annie, Emily, Kaden, Brayden, Mack, Lanie, Ty, Kali, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, June 30, 2017 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 29, 2017 and 9:00 am until service time on Friday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
