Opal Frances Turner Hardcastle, 92 of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Cal Turner Specialty Care in Scottsville. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie Turner and Rena Bobbett Turner and her husband, Paul Taylor Hardcastle.
The Butler County native was retired sales associate for Norman's Department Store and was a homemaker. She was a member of Providence Knob Baptist Church. She loved her church, her family and watching the KY Wildcats and the Atlanta Braves.
Survivors include one son, Larry Paul Hardcastle (Seroba); one daughter, Wandalene Jaggers (Corlett); six grandchildren, Lori Hardcastle (Jeremy), Deron Jaggers (Kim), Christopher Jaggers (Melissa), Chad Hardcastle (Holly), Brandon Jaggers (Brooke) and Wesley Hardcastle (Lindsey); twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two sisters, Othelle Lightfoot and Ruby Mastin; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Pillow Hardcastle; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Friday, February January 26, 2018 at 10:00 am at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home and again from 8:00 am – 10:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.
