Nancy H. Merideth, 79, of Bowling Green passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Bowling Green Nursing & Rehab. The Warren County native was born on August 22, 1937 to the late Youree F. and Hattie Willis Howell. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan and Mike Howell.

Nancy worked as a nurse for over 40 years and retired from The Medical Center in 2001. She was a member of Plum Springs Baptist Church, and was also an US Air Force veteran.

She is survived by a daughter, Sarah Smith (Robert) of Ohio County; a sister-in-law, Joyce Howell; two nieces, Lee Patrick and Melinda Jones; a nephew, Jim Howell; and two granddaughters, Merideth and Lily Smith.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11 AM at Plum Springs Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2016 from 4 – 8 PM at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, and again on Saturday from 9 AM until service time at the church.
