Mitchell Andrew Coleman, 70, of Bowling Green, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. The Warren County, KY native was the son of the late Ruth June Devore Coleman and George Andrew Coleman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Clara Coleman and granddaughter, Madelyn Claire Coleman.

Mr. Coleman worked as a residential and commercial painter. Mitchell was an avid collector of many things including die-cast automobiles, Coca-Cola and rock-n-roll memorabilia. He was a skilled craftsman and artist that taught his children the love of music and art.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Forrester Coleman; three sons, Kevin Coleman (Rachel), Chad Coleman (Amanda), and Shaun Coleman; a brother, Ricky Coleman; half-brother, Buddy Suttle (Sol); six grandchildren, Arielle (Baron), Lydia, Layla, Joslyn, Eden, and Catherine; two great-grandchildren, Theodora and Rowan.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow in Stallard Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
