Minnie Alice Tinsley Price, 93, of Bowling Green died at 2:05 pm on January 9, 2017 at her residence. The Shelby County native was born March 8, 1923 to the late Everett Tinsley and Ramiah Franklin Tinsley Dedman. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James "Jim" T. Price; two brothers, Lewis and Roy Thomas Tinsley; and three sisters, Pearl Pawley, Elsie Sadler, and Betty Miller.
Mrs. Price was a former employee of Union Underwear, and retired from College Heights Bookstore at Western Kentucky University. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she served many years as a Sunday School teacher and missions leader in the children's ministry. She was a member of the Faith Sunday School class, Woman's Missionary Union, and Senior Adult Fellowship.
The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 and again from 9:00 am until service time on Thursday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Jean Price of Bowling Green; a sister-in-law, Mary Price; and several nieces and nephews.
