Dr. Michael Hafford Johnson, D.C., 58, of Bowling Green went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2023.  The Taylor, MI native was born on March 10, 1965, to the late James Clancy and Betty (Madding) Johnson.  Some of Michael's lifelong friendships and best memories are from his school days and sports in Taylor.  He was enjoyed by all for his humor, intelligence and kindness.

For the past 30 years it was Michael's pleasure to serve the Bowling Green community as owner of Johnson Chiropractic Center after completing his doctorate degree from Life Chiropractic College.  He was a teacher and elder at Covenant Ministries Church.  In his free time Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two sisters, Beverly West (Jimmy) of Liberty Hill, TX and Kimberly Ralph (John) of Austin, TX; nephews, Nathan West (Shelbie), Ethan West (Kayla), and Dane Ralph;  nieces, Kaitlyn Landrum (Mike), Eden Ralph, Grace West and Savannah Ralph; and several great nephews and a great niece.

A private service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.  Arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.

We are extremely grateful for the demonstration of God's love while helping and caring for our brother by the Covenant Ministries Church body during his extended illness.
