Melina Baribeau, 100, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Diversicare of Glasgow, Kentucky.

The Beaver Dam, WI native was a daughter of the late Benedetto and Mary Gunta and was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Baribeau.  Mrs. Baribeau was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Milwaukee, WI. She was a women's retail clerk and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Survivors include one son, William V. Baribeau (Diane) of Austin, KY; one daughter, Mary Ann Embry Shields of Alvaton, KY; one brother, Alfonse Guinta of Milwaukee, WI; seven grandchildren, Tina Brown (Jim) of Bowling Green, Brian Embry (Aurora) of Alvaton, David Embry (Anne) of Bowling Green, Joey Baribeau (Kelly) of Prospect, KY, Chris Baribeau (Leanne) of Fayetteville, AR, Marty Miller (Tara) of Bowling Green and Debbie Burden (Paul) of Morgantown, KY; eleven great grandchildren, Hannah Brown, Brittany Brown and Madison Embry all of Bowling Green, Andrew Baribeau and Reese Baribeau both of Prospect, Ciel Baribeau and Gray Baribeau both of Fayetteville, Tori McKinney and Mattie McKinney of Morgantown, Ashley Miller and Matt Miller both of Bowling Green.

Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 am, Monday, June 25, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Memorial Contributions may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
