Mary Edith Lowe, 95, of Bowling Green, passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 15, 2023. The Warren County native was the daughter of the late Bart Wheet and Pearl Jones Wheet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel G. Lowe; a grandson, Bart McKinney; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Jo McKinney; three sisters, Lucyrene Price, Rena Barton Rigelwood and Esther Meeks; two brothers, Amos Wheet and Willard Wheet; and a son-in-law, Billy Joe Mitchell.

Mrs. Lowe was a homemaker and the oldest member of Fairview Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her church and her church family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, October 19 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 18 at the funeral home. There will be additional visitation from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, October 19.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Lowe Mitchell and Janice Lowe Bewley (Gary); a grandson, Brandon McKinney (Phenicia); a great-granddaughter, Keiera McKinney; and several nieces and nephews.
