Mary O. Cohron, 92, died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Greenview Regional Hospital. She was a native of the Guy Community in Warren County and was a daughter of the late Robert G. Sublett and Laura Durbin Sublett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Cohron and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Cohron was a homemaker, a member of The Eastern Star and the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Paul Steve Cohron; a daughter, Carolyn Werner; four grandchildren, Amy Shuee, Vonda Waters, Penny McAvoy and Rexanna Langford; ten great grandchildren, Lindzie Grider, Drake Byrn, Tony Johnson, Christopher Noblitt, Alex McAvoy, Emily McAvoy, Andrew McAvoy, Tyler Waters, Shelby Langford and Randi Jo Langford; two great-great grandchildren, Millie McAvoy and Baylee Radford; two sisters, Johnnie Young (Royce) and Wilowdean Phelps; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Monday, September 9, 2019 and again on Tuesday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
