Martha Lee Burnaugh, 81, of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. The Miami, Florida native was a daughter of the Charles Lee Holloway and Clara Martha Lightsey Holloway.
Martha was a retired correctional officer and Deputy with the Hendy County Sheriff's Department in Florida. She was a graduate of Coral Gables Sr. High in Coral Gables, Florida. She was a participant in the West Florida Criminal Justice Academy in Ft. Myers, Florida. She attended the Florida Bible College in 1960's in Coconut Grove, Florida and went of numerous mission trips throughout the United States. She was active in the Senior Adult and Youth activities at Living Hope Baptist Church where she was a member.
Survivors include her son, Craig R. Burnaugh of Bowling Green.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
