Obituary

Marsha Bohannon Ford, 67, of Bowling Green, passed away  peacefully surrounded by her family and by the sweet presence of the Lord on February 9, 2023 at the Medical Center. The Warren County native was a daughter of the late Charles B. and Louise Hughes Bohannon.

Ms. Ford was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church. Marsha had a love for softball and in her youth was known for being one of the best softball players in Warren County. She was always an advocate for animals. She enjoyed UK basketball and playing bingo. Anyone who knew Marsha loved her.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 13 at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, February 13 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.

Marsha is survived by her brothers, Myron "Bo" Bohannon (Brenda) and Thomas Bohannon (Linda); her sisters, Wanda F. Bohannon and Elvira Bohannon;  niece, Tina Kirby Hale (Mark), nephew, Greg Kirby and his children:  Logan Kirby and Madison Kirby, niece, Emily Fletcher (Scott) and her children:  Andrew Fletcher and Preslie Fletcher, nephew, Chasz Bohannon (Elizabeth) and his child:  Banks Bohannon, niece, Lindsey Bohannon, niece, Tracy Moser (Todd) and her children:  T.J. Moser, Leslie Moser Reed and Katie Moser Cortner, niece, Amy Milam (Derek) and her children:  Carrington Milam and Landon Milam; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the BGWC Humane Society.
