Marjorie Bonds, 87, of Bowling Green passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. She was born January 8, 1937 in Knoxville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late C.R. "Ted" Middleton and Juanita Cates Middleton.

Mrs. Bonds was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and received bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Kentucky University. She taught for 32 years, mostly at Richpond Elementary School. She was a charter member of Christ Methodist Church,  the Bowling Green Optimist Club, and a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Organization for Women Educators.

Mrs. Bonds' long teaching career and continued presence in the community after her retirement, made a positive and meaningful impact on multiple generations in Bowling Green.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Bonds; one son, Jeffrey (Mary Ann) Bonds; and a sister, Sylvia Middleton.

No services are scheduled at this time.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy be made to the Optimist International Foundation or the Alpha Delta Kappa Foundation.
