Mae Clark, 91 of Bowling Green, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab Center. The Barren County native was a daughter of the late Isaac Thomas "Ike" Ward and Flossie Margaret Williams Ward. She was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Bill and Raymond Ward; two sisters, Olene Clark and Margaret Morgan; and daughter-in-law, Judy Craft.
Mrs. Clark was a retired seamstress with Fruit of the Loom and a member of Fairview Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Stanley Clark; two sons, Roger Craft and Eugene Craft (Treva); one daughter, Wanda Merideth (Leo); two sisters, Marie Duke and Betty Wyatt; three grandchildren, Tony Craft (Tammy), Joshua Craft (David), Katie Johnson (Josh); four great grandchildren, Michael Craft (Jessica), Nick Craft, Zack Craft and Luke Johnson; great-great grandchild, Zoe Craft; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and again from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or Kosair Children's Hospital.
