Madeline Gardner, 91, of Bowling Green passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at The Medical Center. The Romney, WV native was born on June 28, 1930, to the late Robert and Pansy Cooper.

She graduated from Sacred Heart School of Nursing and retired as infection control nurse from The Medical Center. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and an active member of her church's UM Women and Young at Heart Groups. She also raised five rowdy children!

Mrs. Gardner was survived by her husband, Donald Gardner; her five children, Steve Gardner (Pam), Mike Gardner (Susan), Terry Gardner, Tim Gardner, and Debbie Gardner; twelve grandchildren, Steven Gardner, Doug Gardner, Todd Gardner, Beth Gardner, Sarah Dionne, Ryan Gardner, Hannah Gardner, Olivia Gardner, Colin Moss, Patrick Kerensky, Nathan Gardner, and Cody Gardner, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church.
