Obituary

Linda Faye Brooks, 74, of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at her sisters residence.  The Butler County native was a daughter of the late Ray Beacher and Letha Bell Tuck Oliver. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by eight siblings, Earl Carlon Oliver, Doris Maxine Oliver, Edna Mae Oliver, Howard Lee Oliver, James Wilber Oliver, Earnest Wayne Oliver, William David Oliver, and Barbara Rae Oliver.

Mrs. Brooks was of the baptist faith and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked with her sisters over 40 years as a home health aide. She loved everyone and everyone loved her, Linda touched untold numbers of lives with her singing and musical gifts.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas G. Brooks; a son, Christopher T. Brooks (Christine); four sisters, Jean Milby, Wanda Beller, Sue Sharer (Robert), and Phyllis Borders; two grandchildren, Jonathan Brooks and Alexander Rios; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Little Muddy Cemetery in Butler County.
