Lillian Rose "Barbara" Parker, 70, of Bowling Green, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at her residence.

The Delaware native was born February 19, 1946 a daughter of the late William Lampe and Angela Rose Ovington. She was formerly employed by the Bowling Green City School System, worked with the Girl Scouts of America and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she also worked.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Parker of Bowling Green; two sons, Joseph Parker (Zella) and Stephen Parker (Katie); three grandchildren, Andrew, Christian and Jessica; seven step-grandchildren; one great grandchild, Cayden.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday, December 30, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church and again on Saturday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the church. Prayer Service is scheduled for 7:00 pm, Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
