Lewis Ray Jenkins, Jr., 48, of Rockfield, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025. The Bowling Green native was the son of the late Lewis Ray Jenkins, Sr. and Barbara Rippy Harris who survives.
Lewis was the owner of Jenkins Auto Care along with his son where he spent most of his time "turning wrenches" and "working on junk". He loved riding motorcycles and hiking with his wife, working out, MMA, and just helping people. His greatest joy was his family and time with his grandbabies.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Dillard Jenkins, their son, Jonathan Jenkins (Brittany) and their children, Wyatt and Rhett; two daughters, Amber Jenkins and her child Ava, and Emily Jenkins; one sister, Shelia Jenkins Poteet; niece Amy Moore and several other nieces and nephews. He was loved and respected by many.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
