Kimberly Marie Jerls, 61, of Bowling Green, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green. The St. Louis, MO native was the daughter of the late Gary Dale and Leslie Eva Debusk Jerls. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Gary William Jerls; her aunt, Sandra Jane Wilson; and her uncles, Hollis William Jerls and Jimmy Lynn Bland.

Kimberly was a graduate of Warren Central High School and was a member of Richpond Baptist Church. She loved to travel, and her happy place was the beach. She had a talent for playing the piano elegantly. Kim had a special love for dogs considering them not just pets, but family members. Family was everything to her and her daughter and granddaughters were the center of her life.

Survivors include her daughter, Aaron Elizabeth Lockwood (Chris); two grandchildren, Georgia Blake Lockwood and Palmer Kayte Lockwood; an aunt, Judith Kay Bland and her family, Lori Ann Buck and Keiton Lynn Buck, all from Dexter, MO; an uncle, Jim Wilson and his children,

Todd Wilson, Cinda Phillips (Tony), Carrie Dawson (John) all from Evansville, IN; additional cousins, Robert Jerls, Mark Jerls, Tim Jerls, Regina Rausch and Mary Schaeffer, all from Texas; and numerous other cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Signature Health for the holiday programs for their residents. The family wants to thank them for their loving care. In honor of Kim's love for music, donations to the Bowling Green Rock Band Academy will also be appreciated.
