Karen Garrity Bell, 68, of Bowling Green passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at her residence. The Bowling Green native was the daughter of the late Georgia Pruett Garrity and Eugene Garrity. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, David Garrity and Anthony Garrity; and one sister, Brenda Monroe.

Mrs. Bell was a graduate of Warren East High School in the class of 1974 and later retired from Overhead Door Company, where she worked as a bookkeeper. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and was an avid gardener, an amateur photographer, and had a love for interior design.

She is survived by her husband, Wane Bell; daughter, Kathleen Rich; two brothers, Tim Garrity (Karen) and Erick Garrity; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, November 18 at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Following the visitation on Sunday, friends are invited to gather with the family for a time to share memories of Mrs. Bell at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
