Obituary

Julia C. Tatum, 90 of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care in Scottsville.

She was born July 22, 1927 in London, Kentucky and was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Earl and Christine Carder; her husbands, Leon Manley and Ernest P. Tatum, one son, Gary Phillip Manley; a daughter-in-law, Connie Manley; and a grandson-in-law, Sid Ray Harp.

She was employed by The Bowling Green Medical Center as a sterilization tech and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Randy Manley; three grandchildren, Angela Denise Harp, Greg Manley (Tammy), and Emily Carter (Paul); six great grandchildren, Shelby Harp, Colin Manley, Jackson Manley, Reagan Manley, Mason Carter and Ava Carter; one great-great grandchild, Liam Manley; a sister, Neil Frances McMillian; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Manley Rigdon.

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
