In Loving Memory of Julia Buxton Norris 

Julia Buxton Norris, 79, passed away peacefully on August 25th at home surrounded by family. Julia was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, and friend whose life was defined by family, kindness, and generosity. She was the beloved wife of George H Buxton, whom she considered the love of her life, and a devoted mother to her children. Throughout her life, Julia demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience. She loved animals, thrifting, country living, and took pride in creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. She also had a sharp mind and a wonderful memory.

 In later years, Julia made her home in Bowling Green, Kentucky where she was lovingly cared for and surrounded by her daughter Cheryl and granddaughter Kelsi. She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren and was deeply grateful for their love and support. Julia will be remembered for her kind heart, loyalty, humor, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely and the lives she touched along the way. “Love and kindness are never wasted. They make a difference” Julia’s memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

 Julia is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Rosenberg, Sandra McGuckin (Sam), and Robin LaVecchia; grandchildren, Kelsi Kitchens, Chase McGuckin, Lola and Richard LaVecchia; siblings, Edgar Debosky, Betty O’Neil, Gloria Elmore, Connie and Gail Wilson; stepchildren, Joyce Owen, Debbie Dunham, Charles Norris Jr, Kenny Norris, and Charlene Bryan; step-grandchildren, Stephanie Thompson, Kayla Baker, Kelly Bryan, Lindsay Rogers, Matthew Dunham. Honorable mention to Nickie Debosky, Jessica Hardy, and the 20+ great grands, nieces, and nephews she had. She was preceded in death by George H. Buxton Jr, George H. Buxton III, Trey Mixon, Jonathan J Heiden, and Carolyn Debosky.
