Judell R. Farmer, 89, of Bowling Green passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at her home.

The Red Cross, Kentucky native was born December 12, 1927, a daughter of the late John Quincy Richey and Thelma Lynn Richey. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Richey and Johnny Richey; and one sister, Pearline Richey.
Mrs. Farmer was a homemaker, wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Farmer of Bowling Green; one daughter, Julie Collins (Steve) of Bowling Green; two brothers, Wallace Richey of Bowling Green and James Henry Richey (Beth) of Tennessee Colony, Texas; two sisters, Ella Miller (Harold) and Martha Russell all of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Jonathan Collins, Ashley Collins, Daniel Collins and Joseph Collins all of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home and again from 12:00 noon to service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
