Jonell Lindsey, 60, of Roundhill, KY passed away Monday April 9, 2018 at her daughter's residence. She was a daughter of the late Ellis Joiner and Ida Mae Embry Joiner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ray Lindsey; three brothers, Sonny Joiner, Murry Joiner, and Jewell Joiner.

Mrs. Lindsey was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid painter and talented cook. She was well known for her fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits. Mrs. Lindsey never met a stranger and loved everyone. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. She was a proud aunt to many, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her children she had a hand in raising more children than just her own.

She is survived by one son, Danny Joe Lindsey (Tracy) of Bowling Green; three daughters, Misty Taylor (James), Pamela Lindsey (Matt), and Sonja Bessinger (Todd) all of Bowling Green; seven brothers, Jack Joiner of Hodgensville, KY, Ted Joiner, Bill Joiner, Lawrence Joiner, Marvin Joiner, Richard Joiner, and Rex Joiner all of Bowling Green; one sister, Alma Applby; one special son, Adam Fuqua; three special sisters, Donna Wyatt and Tony Hall of Bowling Green, Lynn Robinson of Shepardsville, KY; thirteen grandchildren, Cameran Smith, Candice Smith, Christian Lindsey, Kasie Lindsey, Ashley Taylor, Carter Olejarczyk, Dylan Bessinger, Jordyn Bessinger, Bayleigh Shepard, Hunter Taylor, Skyler Bessinger, Brooke Lindsey, and Josh Bessinger; one great grandchild, Sawyer Smith.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 12, 2018 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday April 11, 2018 and again from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.
