Joe Osterman, 77, of Bowling Green passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021.

The Louisville, KY native was a son of the late Guy and Marian Brennan Osterman and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ulsh Osterman, a daughter, Rochelle Osterman, a granddaughter, Sarah Grace Tinsley, a sister, Terry Osterman Schmidt and a brother, Kirk Osterman.

Mr. Osterman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bellarmine College and was an insurance adjustor with Independent Claim Services and Aetna. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Downing and Holly Osterman; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am -12:00 pm Friday, July 30, 2021, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial at 3:00 pm in Fairview Cemetery. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
