Jesse W. Kimbrough, 95, of Bowling Green passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his residence. The Richpond, KY native was a son of the late R. E. Kimbrough and Kate L. Thomas Kimbrough. He was preceded in death by his wife, Randy L. Kimbrough; two brothers, Robert Earl Kimbrough and Garland Kimbrough; a sister, Mary Louise Kimbrough; and a grandson, Joshua Kimbrough.

Mr. Kimbrough was a retired high school basketball coach and elementary principal.  He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University receiving his bachelor's degree. He was a member of the Church of Christ, the Veteran's Club and served in the U.S. Navy as an Airman Apprentice. Jesse was a beloved father, grandfather and husband.

Survivors include a son, William Kimbrough (Sharon); one grandchild, Jessica McCarthy (Chris); three great grandchildren, Lucas Kimbrough, Noah Kimbrough and Haley Gilbert.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Monday, March 25, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor John Strode officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.
