Jerry Patton, 86, of Bowling Green died on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his residence. The Scottsville, KY native was born on April 29, 1931 to the late Oakley Allen and Pearl Caruthers Patton. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jaqueline Sue Patton; a brother, Bobby Patton; and two sisters, Sue Guy and Billie Meeks.

He had been a supervisor at Holley Carburetor. He attended both Park Street and West End Church of Christ.

Mr. Patton is survived by his wife, Constance Duncan Patton; two sons, Michael Patton (Judie) and Gary Patton; a brother, James Allen Patton; two grandchildren, Robby and Cliff Patton; five great-grandchildren, Caitlynn Patton, Cliff Patton, Jr., McKayla Patton, Nate Patton, and Drew Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2 PM on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until funeral time on Thursday.
